If you don't want yourself or your child to be in a verbal bullying situation here is some advice. First of all, if a person is trying to tease you by calling you names that you don't enjoy, ignore him at all cost. If you don't ignore him he will continue teasing you and it will become bullying. In addition, if you see someone taunting you, remain civil and calm down. If you become angry, sad or depressed the bully would probably laugh at your reaction or he will start a fight against you. Also, if he or she starts a rumor about you stay away from it. A rumor can destroy your life even if it's not true so stay away from it and try to do something else that can refresh your mind (soccer, basketball, making music, etc...). Moreover, always stay with your true friends so they can help you with this type of situation. If you are a parent you should warn and advice your child about this type of bullying since it's commonly used. Finally, if it's still continuing, tell a person of authority like a teacher, a parent, a principal or even go to the solution section on our blog site. They can help you stop the verbal bullying regardless the situation.
